The Pack is always in need of volunteer helpers! Here is a Big List of Little Jobs that we are always looking for someone to help out.
Den Leader(s): Leads the Den at weekly Den and monthly Pack meetings. Attends the monthly Pack Committee meeting and roundtable meeting.
Cubmaster: Helps plan and carry out the Pack program with the help of the Pack Committee. Emcees monthly Pack meeting, and attends Pack Committee meeting and monthly meeting.
Committee Chair: Presides at all Pack Committee meetings. Helps recruit adult leaders. Also attends Pack meetings.
Secretary: Keeps all records for the Pack, including Pack Committee meeting notes and prepares monthly Pack newsletter.
Treasurer: Keeps accurate financial records including bank account, helps develop Pack budget. Attends Pack meeting and Pack Committee meetings.
Advancement Coordinator: Orders and obtains all badges and insignia. Attends Pack meetings and Committee meetings.
Pack Trainer: Conducts orientation for new families and Pack leaders. Trains new leaders for their specific leadership positions and encourages participation in district training. Encourages Pack leaders to attend ongoing training, such as roundtables and youth protection training. Keeps track of Pack training records.
Tiger Cub Scout Den Leader: Helps the Tiger Cub Den(s) stay active and participate with the Pack. Coordinates monthly activities.
*** Parent Helpers: Each year, the Pack will undertake several short-term projects. Parents and other volunteers are needed for activities such as Pack fundraisers (Popcorn Sale), Scouting for Food, Pack Good Turn, Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquet, Friends of Scouting, Pack Graduation, and Day Camp. Event coordinators are also needed for field projects and special activities. These jobs are of short duration and still enable all families to assist with important Pack responsibilities.
